Dr. Suraj Mehta

Suraj completed a Masters in Osteopathy at the British College of Osteopathic Medicine (BCOM) in London, graduating in 2013.

With healthcare experience going back to 2007, including a background in pharmacy and supporting spine surgeries across the UK and Sydney, he uses a broad knowledge base to accurately identify the cause of pain, to diagnose appropriately and to develop the most effective treatment plans for his patients.

He spent almost a decade providing osteopathy treatments to the people of London and surrounding areas, and over a year on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland.

Over the course of his career, he has had the privilege of being able to treat a wide range of patients. Suraj believes that each person can experience different demands and stresses on their body. With this in mind, his treatments are personalised for each patient and their needs.

Working with his patients, he helps them understand more about their physiology and why they are experiencing pain or restricted movement. He believes that empowering patients with knowledge is a key factor in rehabilitation and preventing recurring injury and pain.

Suraj supports his patients through every stage of the treatment process and beyond to ensure they are pain-free and can continue on their path to recovery.

Suraj also currently works as a territory manager for leading medical device company, Medtronic, providing peri- and intra-operative support for spine surgeries. This experience provides an opportunity to work closely with and learn from leading spine surgeons across Sydney.

In his free time, he enjoys keeping fit by going to the gym, cycling, swimming and going on long walks. He loves travelling, photography and cooking.
